It's almost hard to keep track of all the performance specifications in the Ford F-150. Ford offers six powertrains with this truck. At Heritage Ford in Modesto, CA, we thought it would be helpful if we gave customers a quick overview of the options.

Let's start with the smallest engine available. It's quite capable, so don't let its size fool you. It's a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that has 325 horsepower. There's also a 3.3-liter V6 for you to choose from. It delivers 290 horsepower and has twin independent variable cam timing. A larger 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 brings the horsepower to 400.

If you prefer diesel, there's a 3.0-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel that has 250 horsepower and can tow up to 12,100 pounds. We also have a hybrid for you to consider. This hybrid powertrain uses a 3.5-liter PowerBoost engine with an electric motor, giving it 430 horsepower. Finally, there's a 5.0-liter V8 that can generate 400 horsepower.
